COLLEGE: Led the Owls versus Rice with seven carries and 82 rushing yards, including a season high 75-yard rushing TD and added two catches in his lone-season with the Owls as a graduate student in 2023. Prior to missing the 2021 season due to injury, he led the Chippewas in touchdowns (seven) and points (42) as a junior, at Central Michigan. As a sophmore, he played in all 13 games (starting in two), rushing for 1,074 yards (sixth in the MAC) on 182 carries (5.9-yard average). He totaled 12 touchdowns (sixth in the MAC and 27th in the nation in rushing touchdowns) and caught 23 passes for 164 yards. Also returned 13 kicks for 308 yards (23.7-yard avg.). Posted a career-high 161 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns vs. New Mexico State (10/12). Recorded a season-high 27 carries for 146 yards and a season-high three touchdowns vs. Akron (9/14).
PERSONAL: He is the son of Rodney and Willieann Lewis, has one brother, Jarod, and a son, Ryder. In high school, was named Co-Player of the Year in Regional 1-4A. Rushed for 1,734 yards and finished with 204 yards in receptions in his senior season and scored 25 touchdowns in 2017. Led Americus-Sumter to a 9-3 finish and second round of Class AAA playoffs.
