About the Cause
The Seattle Seahawks are partnering with News Talk 710 KIRO and Rebuilding Together, a non-profit organization based in New Orleans, to help one family move back into their home in New Orleans.
“We all compete against each other on the field, but the effort to rebuild New Orleans extends far beyond football,” said Seahawks President of Football Operations and General Manager Tim Ruskell. “Many of our coaches, players, staff and fans have been moved by the strength of character and perseverance shown in the Crescent City. We want the Saints fans to know they are not alone.”
All funds raised will benefit Rebuilding Together whose charge is to repair the houses of the city’s low-income elderly, disabled homeowners and first responders.
