We serve as a catalyst to drive growth for the game of football via our focus in youth aspiration to play. Our celebration of the game extends to a broad range of football communities - namely NFL Flag, Youth Tackle, Girls Flag Football, and High School Football.
We fight for racial equity and justice within our workplace and community by addressing inequities, tackling systemic racism, and removing barriers: providing access and opportunities for all people of color.
We create opportunities for our Players and Legends to engage with fans that are both impactful for the Seattle community and targeted towards helping them achieve their individual goals.
We raise awareness and offer our support to the people of the Pacific Northwest and beyond: investing in the organizations and individuals who do the same. Together, we tackle both immediate needs and long-term problems facing our region.
We aim to educate, empower, and encourage our youth through event-based programs and strategic partnerships. Our focus lies in character development, social emotional learning, and career building opportunities.
We engage, support, and celebrate members of the military community: including service members, veterans, families, and non-profit organizations. Each year, we make a point to recognize these local heroes through our programming and appearances.
The Seattle Seahawks' Community Engagement efforts are tailored to our six pillars: serving non-profit organizations in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Due to the large volume of requests we receive annually, we only donate to charities that meet our specific guidelines.
Seahawks Legends, current Seahawks players, Seattle natives and others showed off their golf skills at the Seahawks Classic: a charity golf tournament hosted at Tumble Creek golf course. The inaugural tournament included prizes for first, second and third place winners, a live-auction, and a post-scramble reception. Proud to have started this new tradition, the Seahawks look forward to hosting the event for many years to come, as it benefits the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
Each year, the Seahawks head north to visit our 12s community based in Alaska. From camps and clinics, to fundraisers and giveaways: see the latest content of Blitz and our Legends on the trip.
The Seahawks Community Impact Report for 2023 is here! Flip through the pages and see how our pillars come together in order to make a difference off the field.
Nominate a child in your community to join the Seahawks as a special teams assistant! Each Seahawks home game, one lucky child will have the opportunity to run out onto the field with Blitz to retrieve the kicking tee and run back to the sideline. Winner receives two (2) tickets to the game, two pregame field passes, PLUS a commemorative photo with Blitz.
