Tharold Simon among Seahawks inactives at St. Louis Rams
The Seahawks head into Sunday's season opener at St. Louis with a mostly healthy roster, but will be without cornerback Tharold Simon, who was a Friday addition to the injury report with a toe injury. Simon was listed as questionable Friday. Linebacker Mike Morgan, who was ruled out early in the week with a hamstring injury, is the only other player out because of injury.
As expected, backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is available this week after missing Seattle's final three preseason games with an ankle injury. With Jackson active, receiver B.J. Daniels, a former quarterback who played that position in the final preseason game, is inactive.
The Rams, meanwhile, are missing their top two running backs, Todd Gurley and Tre Mason, which means Benny Cunningham will likely get the start.
