Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings Ranks As Third-Coldest Playoff Game in NFL History

A temperature of minus-6 degrees was announced just before kickoff of Sunday's wild-card game between the Seahawks at Vikings at University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium.

MINNEAPOLIS - Yesterday, we shared a look at the top five coldest playoff games in NFL history, and with the temperature announced at minus-6 degrees just before the kickoff of Sunday's game at University of Minnesota's TCF Bank Stadium, it's time to add the Seahawks' and Vikings' wild-card matchup to the list.

The Seattle-Minnesota tilt ranks as the third-coldest playoff game ever and the coldest game in Vikings history. The minus-6 degree reading is accompanied by a not-so-friendly minus-25 degree wind chill.
