The last time Marshawn Lynch played video games with comedian Conan O'Brien during Super Bowl week, it ended up being one of the late-night host's most popular pieces of content, and has generated more than 14.5 million YouTube views to date.
That successful segment came ahead of the Seahawks' appearance in Super Bowl XLIX against New England, when Lynch and Conan met up with Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski at an Arizona hotel for a 'Clueless Gamer' showdown in the video game 'Mortal Kombat X'.
This year, Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, Calif. unfortunately won't feature the Seahawks, but Lynch, who hails from the Bay Area, still found his way on set as Conan hosted members of the two teams competing in this year's championship game for another 'Clueless Gamer' challenge.
Carolina Panthers cornerback Josh Norman and Denver Broncos pass rusher Von Miller squared off in a game of 'Doom' this past week, and in the feature, which is embedded for you above, Lynch makes a surprise appearance around the four-minute mark to take over Conan's controller. As usual, the Seahawks running back steals the show.
Super Bowl 50 between Carolina and Denver kicks off at 3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Feb. 7 with television coverage on CBS (channel 7 in Seattle).
