After the Seahawks wrapped up their three-day rookie minicamp on Sunday, head coach Pete Carroll noted that the team had some decisions to make, particularly on tryout players who had impressed over the weekend.

On Monday, the Seahawks made decisions on five of those players, signing receiver Damore'ea Stringfellow, free safety Tevon Mutcherson, center Marcus Henry, tackle Nick Callender and guard Avery Young.

To make room on the 90-man roster, the Seahawks waived receiver Ka'Raun White, receiver Taj Williams, linebacker Jason Hall, linebacker Paul Dawson and center Brad Lundblade. White, Williams, Hall and Lundblade all signed with Seattle as undrafted rookie free agents last week and took part in the rookie minicamp. Dawson spent part of last season with the Seahawks, appearing in three games, then was re-signed last month.

Stringfellow, who is 6-foot-2, 218 pounds began his college career at the University of Washington before eventually landing at the University of Mississippi, where in 2016 he caught 46 passes for 716 yards and six touchdowns. He went undrafted last year and signed with Miami as an undrafted free agent. After spending training camp and the preseason with the Dolphins, Stringfellow was waived and subsequently claimed off waivers by the New York Jets. Stringfellow was then waived by the Jets and signed to their practice squad. The Jets waived Stringfellow last month, allowing the Seahawks to bring him in for a look, and Stringfellow took advantage.

"He had a good camp," Carroll said. "He did a nice job. He looked like he fit in and made a really good statement about giving himself a chance here."

Mutcherson played at UCF, where he was teammates with Shaquill and Shaquem Griffin, and went undrafted in 2017. The 5-foot-10, 197-pound Mutcherson spent time with the Houston Texans last season. As a senior at UCF, Mutcherson started 13 games, recording 73 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions and one sack.

Henry, a graduate of Bellevue High School, went undrafted out of Boise State in 2016 before signing with the New Orleans Saints.

Callender, a 6-6, 321-pound tackle out of Colorado State, tore his Achilles during his team's pro day last spring, causing him to miss the 2017 season.

Young, who went undrafted out of Auburn in 2016, has spent time with the New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the past two seasons. Young, like Callender, was sidelined by injury in his first year out of college having sustained a knee injury at Auburn's pro day in 2016.
