The Seattle Seahawks made a roster move Thursday, signing linebacker Kyle Coleman, an undrafted rookie out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Coleman fills the roster spot that came open after defensive back Jamal Marshall was waived Wednesday.
Coleman, who is 6-foot, 231 pounds, participated in Seattle's rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. He was listed as a fullback for that minicamp, though he also spent time at linebacker. Coleman began his college career as a linebacker Arkansas State before transferring to Arkansas-Pine Bluff, where he played tight end as a senior, catching 10 passes for 117 yards. Marshall signed with Seattle last month after also participating in rookie minicamp as a tryout player.
With the Day 1 jitters out of their systems, the players got into their groove during Day 2 of Seahawks Rookie Minicamp.
