Pete Carroll Shares Injury Updates From Seahawks 24-3 Win Over Los Angeles Rams

The Seahawks left Thursday's 24-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams with two injuries to key players.

Seattle, Wash. — The Seattle Seahawks left Thursday night's 24-3 NFC West-clinching victory over the Los Angeles Rams with two injuries to key players.

It was announced in the press box that defensive end Michael Bennett was being evaluated for a possible concussion in the fourth quarter, but head coach Pete Carroll said in his postgame press conference that Bennett was hit in the neck and shouldn't miss much time.

"Mike feels fine," Carroll said. "He wrenched his neck, it wasn't a hit to the head. We're going to check him out, but he felt fine afterward, so we'll see what happens with that. (He) should be OK."

Additionally, Seahawks punter Jon Ryan left the game in the fourth quarter with what was announced as a possible concussion after he sustained a tough blow at the end of a 26-yard run on a fake punt.

"He got a concussion, so we're going to check him out and take him to the hospital and all that," Carroll said. "He was pretty loopy, so it's unfortunate."
