The NFL announced rookie minicamp dates for each of the League's 32 teams on Wednesday, with the Seahawks set to hold their three-day camp from Friday, May 12 through Sunday, May 14 at Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic Center.
The 11 members of the Seahawks' 2017 NFL Draft class — defensive tackle Malik McDowell, offensive lineman Ethan Pocic, cornerback Shaquill Griffin, safety Delano Hill, defensive tackle Nazair Jones, receiver Amara Darboh, safety Tedric Thompson, safety Mike Tyson, offensive tackle Justin Senior, receiver David Moore, and running back Chris Carson — are expected to be in attendance at team headquarters during that Mother's Day weekend. They'll be joined by players from a to-be-announced undrafted rookie free agent class, as well as Seahawks non-rookies with rookie minicamp eligibility and several others who will be invited to participate on a tryout basis.
Last year's rookie minicamp roster included 68 total players. Of the 33 players who took part on a tryout basis, five were signed to the team's 90-man offseason roster.
Seahawks.com and the team's social media channels will carry coverage of this year's rookie camp, which will allow players to run through on-field and off-field work with their new coaches and teammates for the first time.
