The Seattle Seahawks moved back to .500 after defeating the Indianapolis Colts 46-18 on Sunday Night Football. Here are 10 numbers that stood out from the Week 4 contest:
1
Filling in for Jeremy Lane, Seahawks cornerback Justin Coleman recorded the first interception of his pro career yesterday. Coleman picked off his former teammate, Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett, and returned the interception for a 28-yard touchdown that was the first of the game.
1.5
Seahawks defensive end Marcus Smith recorded a career-high 1.5 sacks against the Colts.
2
Yesterday marked the first time since 2012 that the Seattle had two defensive scores in a game. In addition to Coleman's interception return, Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner had a 21-yard fumble recovery (forced by Smith) he took to the end zone.
18
How much different did the Seahawks play in the second half? Brissett only threw for 15 yards after tossing for 142 the first two quarters. As a team, the Seahawks held the Colts to 32 net yards in the second half.
19
Seahawks running back Eddie Lacy had an explosive 19-yard run late against the Colts and it was definitely a positive for Seattle's ground game. Lacy finished the game with a team-high 52 yards on 11 carries.
20
In primetime games since 2010, the Seahawks are now 20-3-1 and have outscored their opponents 627-316. Under head coach Pete Carroll, they are 7-2-1 on Sunday Night Football and 13-1 in home primetime games since 2010.
30
Seahawks running back J.D. McKissic's 30-yard touchdown in the third quarter was his first rushing score in the NFL and he recorded it on his first carry with the Seahawks this season.
35
Jon Ryan's 35-yard punt on the Seahawks' third offensive possession was his only kick of the day, making it his quietest as a punter this season. Ryan punted 6,7 and 8 times in Seattle's first three games of the season.
80.77
Lost in yesterday's win was how crisp Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was throwing the football minus his two interceptions. Wilson completed 21 of 26 passes against the Colts and recorded the second-highest completion percentage of his NFL career.
84
The Seahawks' final offensive possession of the game, which resulted in a 27-yard touchdown reception by McKissic, went for 84 yards. That was the second longest drive the Seahawks offense has put together all season, just behind the 86-yard drive they put together in five plays the week prior against Tennessee.
