The Seahawks promoted rookie receiver David Moore off of their practice squad Wednesday, filling the spot that opened up a day earlier when the team waived defensive end Dwight Freeney.
Moore, a seventh-round pick out of East Central University in Oklahoma, was waived by the Seahawks prior to the start of the season, then was added to the practice squad. Moore had four catches for 44 yards during the preseason.
The Seahawks also made two additions to the practice squad, bringing back a pair of players who have spent time with Seattle in the past, fullback Kyle Coleman and linebacker Kache Palacio. Coleman, a linebacker in college, originally signed with Seattle as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas-Pine Bluff in 2016, then spent time with Seattle again last summer. Palacio, who went undrafted out of Washington State in 2016, spent last season on Seattle's practice squad.
