After two quarters of football, the Seattle Seahawks trail the Jacksonville Jaguars 3-0. Here are quick notes from the first half:
- Jacksonville's defense limited the Seahawks' offense to just 10 plays for 32 yards in the first quarter. They put up 119 yards of offense themselves while controlling the possession battle 9:02 to 5:58.
- Jaguars running back Chris Ivory ripped off a 34-yard run on Jacksonville's first offense drive, which was the longest run the Seahawks defense has allowed since Week 3 against Tennessee. Rookie Leonard Fournette has been held to just 17 yards on five carries.
- Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has 42 rushing yards.
- After a slow start on the ground, running back Mike Davis came along strong to end the first half. Davis has 56 yards on only nine attempts, including a 21-yard scamper.
- The Seahawks have committed only two penalties in the first half. In their last two games they have committed just 11 total.
- The Jaguars came into the game leading the NFL with 45.0 sacks and through two quarters Seattle's offensive line has held up relatively well, blanking Jacksonville in the category.
