Seahawks Training Camp Storylines
July means training camp is just around the corner and Seahawks.com has started taking a look at 10 of the most intriguing storylines, position battles and players heading into the 2025 season. So far, we've looked at the return game, tight end, safety, running backs, linebacker, receiver, cornerback, offensive line and defensive line.
This summer, the Seahawks will host nine public training camp practices at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center throughout July and August as well as Football Fest, a practice at Lumen Field.
Here are all of the training camp dates:

- Monday, July 28
- Thursday, July 31
- Friday, August 1

In honor of the team's 50th season and its campaign "Impacting 50 Communities, presented by Safeway," head coach Mike Macdonald is making 5,000 complimentary tickets available for nonprofits to attend Training Camp. Interested nonprofits can submit a request here.
Devon Witherspoon Hosts Back To School Event At Alma Mater
Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon returned to his hometown of Pensacola, Fla. And hosted the inaugural Devon Witherspoon Back-to-School Jamboree to help prepare students for the upcoming school year with school supplies.
Witherspoon held the event at his alma mater Pine Forest High School and said it was important for him to go back to the community that made him.
"It means a lot to have these kids come up to me because I was once one of those kids," Witherspoon told Fox10 News. "No matter how big you go and how big you get and how far away you go you always pour back into your community and always show love to the ones who raised you and show love to your community that you'll be around."
When the Seahawks and Buccaneers meet in Week 5, fans will be transported back in time, as both teams will be donning their Throwback uniforms. Seattle will be wearing their 90s inspired Royal Blue and Apple Green uniforms, while Tampa Bay will be in their White Creamsicle jerseys, bringing back their original 1976 uniform design.
The NFL is continuing to roll out its list of Top Players of 2025 and Sam Darnold ranks No. 72 and is on the list for the first time in his career.
Darnold was named to the list for his breakout season with the Minnesota Vikings in 2024. He threw for 4,319 yards, 35 touchdowns, 12 interceptions, a career-best 102.5 passer rating and helped lead the Vikings to a 14-3 record. He was also named to his first Pro Bowl.
Seahawks Legend John Randle Named Walter Camp Man of the Year
Seahawks Legend John Randle is heavily involved in the community, whether that's showing up to flag football events or charity golf tournaments. He is the recipient of this Year's Walter Camp Man of the Year, an award that recognizes former player's public service contributions.
"To be associated with Walter Camp, hearing all the great things about it, for me, it's wonderful to hear. For me, for my legacy, it's major, just unbelievable," Randle told CT Insider.
