COLLEGE: Played five seasons (2017-21) at Washington University and spent the 2022 season focusing on track & field. Started 30 of 39 career games played, totaling 145 tackles (115 solo), 23 passes defensed and seven interceptions. Named All-CCIW following his final season of 2021 when he recorded 46 tackles and led the team with four interceptions. Helped Washington University to the men's track & field national championship in March 2023. Was the Division III national indoor 60m hurdle champion and a 4x400m relay All-American. Prior to the title, he was a two-time indoor All-American in the 60-meter hurdles (2020) and the 4x400 meter relay (2019).
At Lakota West High, he was a four-year letter winner in track & field and football. As a team captain in both sports his senior year, Whitaker finished sixth at the Ohio Division I state meet in the 300m hurdles and 11th in the 110m hurdles. On the football field, Whitaker was named to the Ohio All-Conference Team. Earned his master's in biomedical engineering.
