We typically share 12 things you may not know about a Seahawks player in this space.
But sometimes, we get a little carried away on one particular topic and run out of time to discuss much else. For Jermaine Kearse, that topic is "Bachelor in Paradise."
The Seahawks wide receiver was introduced to the show, a summer spin-off of ABC's popular "Bachelor" franchise, by his wife Marisa. (He's not the only Seahawks player who is a fan – punter Jon Ryan is a self-professed member of Bachelor Nation and used a "Bachelor"-inspired hashtag to celebrate his wedding to comedian Sarah Colonna last month.)
"The Chad and Lace thing is a little interesting. I think they're both crazy. I thought it got a little carried away," Kearse says. "I felt a little heartbroken when she brought up the passing of his mother. I'm like, 'Dang, the dude is hurting and they aren't showing him any love out there.'"
For the uninitiated, Chad Johnson is one of the greatest "Bachelor" villains of all time.
Was he rightfully kicked out of paradise?
"Yeah and no? It's tough," Kearse says." I think he does kind of bring it on himself. … Lace threw him under the bus, but I think we're going to find out a lot about her."
