Earl Thomas Active As Expected For Seahawks Opener At Denver

A look at the inactive list for the Seahawks prior to their 2018 opener at Denver.

DENVER—The Seahawks will open their 2018 season with free safety Earl Thomas on the field. That much was clear when a move was made Saturday to add him to the 53-man roster, but it was confirmed that the All-Pro safety will be on the field when the inactives list came out prior to Sunday's game and Thomas was not among those listed.

The Seahawks will be without two players due to injury, linebacker K.J. Wright and right guard D.J. Fluker, both of whom were ruled out on Friday.

The Seahawks have two defensive tackles inactive, Nazair Jones and rookie Poona Ford, as well as running back Mike Davis and two recent additions, safety Shalom Luani and guard Jordan Simmons.

The Broncos have no players out due to injury.
