The Seattle Seahawks are inviting fans to celebrate "Blue Friday," January 6, in style as they prepare for Saturday's NFC Wild Card matchup against the Detroit Lions at 5:15 p.m.
Seahawks Legends such as Lawyer Milloy and Dave Krieg, plus other Seattle figures will take place in fan activities throughout the day.
Here's a preview of all of the events taking place tomorrow that you can be a part of:
Blitz Starbucks Run
The Seahawks and Starbucks partnered to celebrate the playoff matchup with a surprise for 12s. Starting at 6 a.m. until 8 a.m., team mascot Blitz will visit a slate of Starbucks locations near downtown Seattle to hand out limited edition Seahawks Starbucks cards.
12 Flag Raising
At 9 a.m., Seahawks legend and Ring of Honor member Dave Krieg will raise the 12 Flag on top of the Space Needle. The raising will be broadcasted on Seahawks.com and on the team's Periscope if you cannot attend. The Periscope stream will be broadcasted here.
Seahawks Blue Friday Rally at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor
Starting at 10:30 a.m. will be one of several Blue Friday rallies. The first will begin at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor (Brick Courtyard) for all Seahawks fans with base access. Milloy and former Seahawks wide receiver Paul Skansi will be in attendance.
Additionally, during this same time slot, Governor Jay Inslee and former Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant will raise the 12 Flag at the Capitol.
Seahawks Blue Friday Rally at Bremerton Boardwalk
At approximately 1:15 p.m., join Mayor Patty Lent for a traditional pep rally and ceremonial flag raising at Bremerton Boardwalk.
Seahawks Blue Friday Rally on Chelan Ferry traveling from Bremerton to Seattle
The team will host their first floating pep rally on board the Chelan Ferry, which departs from Bremerton at 3 p.m. The event is free with ticket purchase, but fans are encouraged to arrive early due to limited capacity. More details can found here.
Seahawks Blue Friday Rally at Coleman Dock in downtown Seattle
To cap the day, there will be a rally at Coleman dock in downtown Seattle upon the arrival of the ferry, which is scheduled to arrive at 4 p.m.
