With the Seahawks down 20-0 the team was backed up into their own red zone as the 49ers settled for a field goal but instead of San Francisco going up 23-0, wide receiver Tariq Woolen set the edge for a much needed blocked the field goal. Cornerback Mike Jackson then scooped the ball up and took it back 86 yards to cut the game down 20-7.
