Kenneth Walker III Nominated For Ground Player Of The Week For Week 6 vs. Cardinals

The rookie running back racked up 110 total yards and a touchdown in his first career start on Sunday vs. the Cardinals.

Seahawks rookie running back Kenneth Walker III wasted no time making his presence felt on Sunday, taking his first carry of the game 17 yards, then following that up with another 34 yards on the very next play. When all was said and done, the second rounder had accumulated 97 rushing yards, 13 receiving yards, and a touchdown, playing a key role in a 19-9 win over the Cardinals on Sunday. That performance has earned him a nomination for FedEx Ground Player of the Week. Not bad for a first career start.
