Offense

Four of five linemen, as well as quarterback Russell Wilson played all 54 offensive snaps, while center Justin Britt was replaced by Joey Hunt for two plays on the final drive because of a stinger issue. Britt was able to come back and finish the game.

Among that group playing every snap was undrafted rookie George Fant, who was starting at left tackle in place of an injured Bradley Sowell, and who after a couple of early penalties settled in and "Played really well and looked really good," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said on 710 ESPN Seattle Monday morning. "He was very physical and looked the part. That's a remarkable thing that he's doing. To play that far ahead of his experience is pretty good."

At tight end, Jimmy Graham again played nearly every snap (91 percent) while Brandon Williams played 19 percent and Nick Vannett played 17 percent, recording his first NFL catch in the process.

Christine Michael led the way at running back, though his playing time was down a bit at 52 percent, in part because rookie C.J. Prosise took on a bigger role (43 percent) in his second game back from injury. Fullback Will Tukuafu played six snaps in his first game back with Seattle after re-signing earlier in the week.

Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse were the top receivers in playing time, as usual, at 87 percent and 85 percent, respectively, followed by Tyler Lockett at 63 percent and Paul Richardson at 26 percent. Rookie Tanner McEvoy played just four snaps, but as has been the case for him this season, he came up with a big play in limited playing time, hitting Prosise for 43-yard gain on a trick play.

Defense

Kelcie McCray, Earl Thomas, K.J. Wright and Bobby Wagner played all 76 defensive snaps. Richard Sherman and DeShawn Shead, who are usually every-down players, were off the field for four snaps apiece, the result of the Seahawks taking a cornerback off the field to go heavy in some of the goal-line plays they faced.

With Michael Bennett out, Cliff Avril led the way in defensive line playing time at 86 percent, while Frank Clark, starting in place of Bennett, played 82 percent of the snaps. Ahtyba Rubin was next up at 64 percent, followed by Tony McDaniel (55 percent), Jarran Reed (39 percent), Cassius Marsh (37 percent) and Sealver Siliga (29 percent). Recently-signed defensive end Malliciah Goodman play 17 percent of the snaps in his first game with the Seahawks.

The Seahawks were pretty balanced between nickel and base defense, as is evident in Jeremy Lane's 57 percent playing time and Brock Coyle's 45 percent. In addition to starting at strongside linebacker in the base defense, his first start since his rookie season—Coyle was also part of the heavy goal-line packages.

Special Teams

Brandon Williams again led the way in special teams playing time at 81 percent, followed by Cassius Marsh at 81 percent and Brock Coyle and Steven Terrell at 74 percent. Neiko Thorpe, Jordan Tripp and Dewey McDonald all played 63 percent of the special teams snaps, while Tyvis Powell played 48 percent, taking on a bigger role with DeAndre Elliott sidelined by a hamstring injury.

The Seattle Seahawks took on the New Orleans Saints at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday.
