Nearly a year after retiring, former Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch continues to make the most of his free time, and his latest adventure took him to Scotland, of all places, where he visited the village of Houston to see if people there knew about the Super Bowl being played in Houston, Texas.
Much to Lynch's surprise, there were NFL fans in this Houston as well who, as Lynch was told, stay up until "ridiculous o'clock in the morning" to watch games.
"The Super Bowl is going to be in Houston this year, Houston Texas," Lynch explained to a local to whom he also gives a ton of Skittles. "So I thought I would come out Scotland's Houston to find out if y'all knew about the Super Bowl going on in Houston, Texas, and it sounds like you're really (expletive) excited about it."
During the three-minute video posted on Skittles' YouTube page, Lynch rides around town on a bike handing out Skittles, chats with locals, plays and dances to bagpipe music, and even wields a sword and shield, all while sporting a Seahawks beanie.
Seahawks Legend Marshawn Lynch traveled to Houston, Scotland with Skittles to get the country excited for Super Bowl LI, which takes place this weekend in Houston, Texas between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots.
Unfortunately, Lynch takes a pass on putting on a kilt, "Where I'm from, where don't wear those."
Lynch also learns a bit about history, expressing surprise when he learns a castle was built around 1160.
"Y'all got some real history around this (expletive)," he said.
