Good afternoon, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today — Monday, April 10 — about your Seattle Seahawks:
Shead Makes Strides In Rehab
DeShawn Shead is getting better each day.
Last Friday, the Seahawks cornerback created a story on Instagram and shared a few video clips of himself going through workouts at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton as he continues to recover from a serious knee injury he sustained in Seattle's Divisional Round loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Although it was noted at the NFL Combine that a Week 1 return for Shead seems unlikely, the 27-year-old certainly looks like he's doing his best to be in uniform when that time comes next season.
"I would be a little bit more optimistic," Carroll said at the combine. "DeShawn is such an extraordinary healer and competitor, I wouldn't put any limits on him right now, but it wouldn't be unlikely that we might go into the season before he's ready to go. But he's too much of a battler and he can do some marvelous things."
Tweet Of The Day
Today's "Tweet of the Day" comes from Seahawks linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis, who shared this photo on Twitter shortly after participating in the Seahawks 12K Run:
