A look back at some of the best images of RB Marshawn Lynch from the 2014 NFC Championship season.
Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Monday, March 9 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
The Beast Is Back
Running back Marshawn Lynch signed a two-year extension with the Seahawks on Friday afternoon, a deal that will keep "Beast Mode" in Seattle through the 2017 season.
As you can imagine, Lynch's teammates were pleased to hear the news. Several Seahawks players - and team owner Paul Allen - quickly took to social media to voice their support for the man that has led the club in rushing the past five seasons.
Tweet Of The Day
Today's "Tweet of the Day" comes from Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who wants to know what he has to do to bring the Seattle SuperSonics back to the NBA. If you have any ideas, let him know on Twitter @DangeRussWilson.
The Seahawks released tight end Zach Miller, defensive tackle Jesse Williams, and offensive lineman Garrett Scott last week. The club also signed defensive end Greg Scruggs, a restricted free agent, to a one-year deal.
Jayson Jenks at the Seattle Times says Lynch's football savvy can be overshadowed by his bruising style of play.
