LONDON—The Seahawks will face the Oakland Raiders on Sunday without starting tight end Nick Vannett, as well as defensive end Dion Jordan, both of whom were listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.
Neither player practiced Friday, but Carroll said following practice that Vannett should be ready to play Sunday, making Sunday's news a bit of a surprise.
With Vannett out, and with Will Dissly on injured reserve, the Seahawks' options at tight end are Darrell Daniels and Tyrone Swoopes, who was promoted from the practice squad on Saturday. Daniels has appeared in four games this season, seeing his most significant playing time last week, Seattle's first game since Dissly's season-ending knee injury. Swoopes, who signed with the Seahawks in 2017 as an undrafted rookie out of the University of Texas, spent most of last season on the practice squad before being added to the 53-man roster for the final game of the season.
The Seahawks will also likely use backup tackle George Fant as a blocking tight end, something he did for 12 snaps last week.
Linebacker K.J. Wright (knee) and defensive end Rasheem Green (ankle) are also inactive due to injury, having been ruled out earlier in the week.
Here are the inactives for both teams:
