Ceiling tiles fall from the roof at the Kingdome, forcing the closure of the building until Nov. 5 and prompting the Seahawks to play two preseason and three regular-season games at Husky Stadium on the University of Washington campus. The Seahawks were 1-2 in the regular-season games at Husky Stadium, where they would play all their home games in 2000 and 2001 while a new stadium was being built on the site of the Kingdome.
