Quarterback Russell Wilson Becomes First 4,000-Yard Passer in Seattle Seahawks Franchise History

Russell Wilson topped 4,000 yards passing on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, the first Seahawks quarterback to ever reach the 4,000-yard mark.

Russell Wilson set the team's franchise-record for passing touchdowns in a single-seasonĀ in the first half of Sunday's regular-season finale against the Arizona Cardinals, and in the second half, the fourth-year signal caller became the first Seahawks quarterback to ever throw for 4,000 yards in a single season.

Wilson surpassed Matt Hasselbeck, who had 3,966 passing yards in 2007, for the top spot on the club's all-time list.

Both of Wilson's record-breaking throws went to tight end Chase Coffman, who before Sunday's game against Arizona had not recorded a catch in a Seahawks uniform.
