The Seahawks kept their playoff hopes alive with a win in Dallas on Sunday, and now they turn their attention to the Cardinals for their regular season finale. But before we focus on that game, it's time once again to answer questions from you, the fans. As always, thanks to everyone who took the time to ask a question, and apologies if I couldn't get to yours this time around.

@_conor asks, "Are us UK 12s likely to see a Seahawks UK game at some point in the near future?"

A:We get this question a lot, but I don't mind answering again since there's obviously interest in the Seahawks over there. The short answer is that I have no clue. But in general west coast teams don't go to London as often as the rest of the league just because it's a much longer trip, but it's not completely out of the realm of possibility that Seattle could head there at some point. The Rams, who are still waiting on their permanent home to be built, were sent to London in 2017 and if they are sent back in the next couple of years before their stadium is finished, that obviously would mean there's at least a chance of Seattle being the opponent. Also, the managing director of NFL UK said earlier this year that ideally they'd someday like to get every team to London, and Seattle is one of the last six teams to not make that trip.

@SeaHawkersGER asks, "Any suggestions on how to watch the game on Sunday while 2017 turns to 2018? Should be midnight (in Germany) right before halftime."

A: If you weren't already aware, there are a lot of Seahawks fans in Germany, and as the official account of the German Seahawkers notes, the time difference means the calendar will change to 2018 in Germany while the game is going on this weekend.

The easy answer would be to drink beer, because Germany has a lot of great beer, and beer also pairs wonderfully with football (in moderation, of course). You could also try to rewrite the lyrics to Auld Lang Syne to make it a Seahawks song, then sing it after every Seahawks score. But if that sounds like too much work… beer.

@wenfot asks "What pick will the Seahawks have in next year's draft, and what position do you think they'll target?" And @StardustSzn asks if the Seahawks will go offense or defense in the first round.

A:We won't know the draft order until the playoff picture is set next week, but if the Seahawks do get in, that means they'll pick in the final 12 spots. Where exactly won't be decided until we see how the postseason plays out (the farther teams advance, the later they are in the draft order). If the Seahawks don't get in, they'll have one of the best records for a non-playoff team, meaning their pick would fall in the late teens to 20.

As for what the Seahawks will do with their top pick, most of you probably know by now that they're far too unpredictable to guess what they'll do in the first round—if they even keep that pick.

@Mikey8452 asks, "Will Chris Carson practice this week?" And @16thPick asks, "What is the likelihood that Chris Carson is able to return if the Seahawks make the playoffs?"

A:To answer the first question, Carroll said Tuesday on 710 ESPN Seattle that Carson isn't going to make it back to practice this week. As for what that means beyond this week if the Seahawks make the playoffs, Carroll didn't go into detail on that, but in all likelihood it would have to be a lengthy playoff run at this point for Carson to be ready to play in a game. With as long as he has been out, having gone on injured reserve in early October, it's probably not realistic that he could come back to practice next week and play in the Wild Card round, though I suppose nothing is completely out of the question. For example, when Dion Jordan came off the physically unable to perform list, he practiced for two weeks before returning to game action, and when Shead returned to practice, he needed three weeks of practice before making his 2017 debut on Sunday.

And while we're on the topic of injuries…

@ejmalanoski asks, "Any chance Naz Jones comes back this week? Was he expected to miss four games when he injured his ankle?"

A:We'll likely know more about this after Seahawks coach Pete Carroll holds his Wednesday press conference, but I'd imagine there's at least a chance since Jones was not ruled out last week ahead of time. As for the length of the injury, Carroll confirmed last week that the rookie defensive tackle has a high-ankle sprain, so while some players do get back more quickly from that injury, a four-week absence is hardly unusual. Getting Jones back would be big for the defense, because the rookie out of North Carolina has proven to be a pretty disruptive player when he has been on the field.

@Tj828 Asks about the Panthers' motivation this week.

A:This question is of course relevant to the Seahawks because they need help from the Panthers in Week 17 in order to make the playoffs. If the Seahawks beat Arizona Sunday, they'll only make the playoffs if the Panthers can win at Atlanta (or in a far less-likely scenario, those two teams could tie and Seattle would get in with a win, or the Seahawks get in with a tie and an Atlanta loss).

And while the Panthers have already secured a playoff spot, they should be fully motivated when they travel to Atlanta on Sunday. If the Saints were to lose to Tampa Bay, then Carolina can secure the NFC South with a win over the Falcons, and depending on how things shake out in a few other games, Carolina even has a shot at the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. That Saints vs. Buccaneers game kicks off at the same time as Carolina at Atlanta, so the Panthers won't know their fate heading in, meaning they'll be going all out for a chance at a home playoff game, or perhaps even a bye.   

Professional funny person and punting enthusiast by marriage @sarahcolonna says her husband is inquiring about my favorite Christmas movie. (She also knows the difference between your and you're but Twitter doesn't have an edit function).

A:If the question is indeed coming from Jon Ryan, who has a 50-inch leg lamp in his front window over the holidays (or maybe year round?), then I'm assuming the answer you two are looking for is A Christmas Story.

And while I can appreciate that fine Christmas classic, it's not my favorite. Sorry. I know there's some debate over whether Die Hard is a Christmas movie, but if we count that as one—and we should—then that's absolutely one of my favorites. I'm also a big fan of Christmas Vacation and Elf. Bad Santa is pretty funny as well if you like R-rated humor. My wife is also a big fan of the corny Hallmark Channel Christmas movies, so I've seen plenty of those over the last few years (spoiler alert, someone finds love and/or a newfound appreciation for Christmas at the end).
