Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch will play in Sunday's home opener against the Chicago Bears. Lynch, who has only missed one game since joining the Seahawks in 2010, was listed as questionable on Friday's practice report with an calf injury, and Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said the running back's status would be determined following a Saturday workout. Also active, as expected, is safety Kam Chancellor, who was added to the 53-man roster Saturday and will make his 2015 debut Sunday.
The Seahawks will be missing tight end Luke Willson, who has a back injury and is inactive. Also out because of injuries are cornerback Tharold Simon (toe) and safety Steven Terrell (hip flexor).
The Bears, as expected, are missing starting quarterback Jay Cutler and No. 1 receiver Alshon Jeffery because of injuries.
