Richard Sherman ran track at Stanford, and he runs with the NFL's best receivers playing cornerback from the Seattle Seahawks, but now we have footage—and surely it's real—of him running from dinosaurs.
Sherman appears in an ESPN promo for the new Jurassic World movie, which stars Chris Pratt, who grew up in Lake Stevens. Pratt Tweeted the video Saturday, which features Sherman running from danger, filming dinosaurs, saying, "Coach is gonna love this!" and yelling in fear. Clearly Oscar-worthy stuff.
Sherman responded to Pratt calling his work "amazing" by tweeting, "Lol just doing what I can! Need a few lessons from you."
In a way, it's fitting that Sherman is appearing in a promo video for a movie about an amusement park. After all, when he was asked about fellow All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis, Sherman once said he wanted to be a tourist attraction rather than an island.
"No, I don't want to be an island, I don't like that," Sherman said. "I want to be more of a tourist attraction, I want to be the guy where you stop here, I take your money and you go. Everybody has a good day, I don't want to be an island."
