Running Back C.J. Prosise Inactive For Seahawks' Divisional Round Game at Atlanta

The Seahawks will be without rookie running back C.J. Prosise for Saturday's Divisional Round playoff game at Atlanta.

ATLANTA—The Seahawks will again be without rookie running back C.J. Prosise for Saturday's Divisional Round playoff game at Atlanta. Despite returning to practice this week, Prosise, who was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, is inactive.

Prosise, a third-round pick out of Notre Dame, has been out since fracturing his scapula in a Week 11 win over Philadelphia. Prosise did go through a pretty thorough pregame workout on the field, and with a week of practice under his belt, it's possible he could make it back next week should the Seahawks advance to the NFC Championship Game.

Carroll had cautioned after Thursday's practice that, despite making it back to practice this week, Prosise's status would not be decided until game day.

"He made it through practice all this week," Carroll said Thursday. "We'll just take it day to day, take it to the stadium and see how it goes.

"He's regaining his confidence and kind of getting going again. It has been a while, seven weeks or something like that. He took a lot of turns yesterday and today, so he's just getting back. We're not sure how we're going to do that, but we'll check him after the whole week's work on Friday and see how it goes all the way to game day… He did practice all this week, so that's a really good sign. So we'll see what happens."

Prosise is the only player on Seattle's 53-man roster who is inactive due to injury. As expected, defensive tackle Tony McDaniel is back after missing last week's Wild Card victory over Detroit with a concussion.

The Seahawks made one change with their offensive line depth, making Bradley Sowell inactive and Rees Odhiambo inactive. That had also been the case in Seattle's final two regular-season games after Garry Gilliam took over the starting job at right tackle, but in last week's Wild Card game, Sowell was active over Odhiambo.

The Falcons have no players inactive due to injury.

Here are the inactives for both teams:
