The 2024 NFL Draft gets underway Thursday in Detroit, with the Seahawks scheduled to make their first selection with the No. 16 overall pick, barring, of course, a trade. And with the draft almost here, we here at Seahawks.com put together your one-stop shop of Seahawks draft information to help you get ready for the team's 15th draft under general manager and president of football operations John Schneider.
First off, here is how you can watch, listen to and stream the draft, which begins Thursday at 5 p.m. Pacific Time. Rounds 2 and 3 will take place Friday, beginning at 4 p.m., then Rounds 4-7 will take place Saturday starting at 9 a.m. Trades can and very likely will change things, but as of now, the Seahawks hold seven picks heading into the 2024 draft.
- Round 1, No. 16 overall
- Round 3, No. 81 overall (from New Orleans via Denver)
- Round 4, No. 102 overall (from Washington)
- Round 4, No. 118 overall
- Round 6, No. 179 overall (from Washington)
- Round 6, No. 192 overall
- Round 7, No. 235 overall
While this is Schneider's 15th draft as Seattle's general manager, it will be his first with Mike Macdonald as head coach after running the previous 14 with Pete Carroll. Schneider talked about his first offseason with Macdonald and the new coaching staff at the NFL Scouting Combine, and assistant general manager Nolan Teasley also spoke to what is the same and what isn’t when it comes to working with a new coaching staff leading up to the draft.
