The Seahawks have launched a new program called Girls Flag Takeover to support, amplify and shine a light on girls flag football throughout Washington. The Seahawks will support four games throughout the girls flag football season with Blitz, Seahawks Dancers, giveaways and different meet-and-greets. After each game, a coach will be named "Coach of the Game" and be awarded a donation to their program. Athletes will also be given customized Seahawks swag.
The inaugural Girls Flag Takeover will kick off on Thursday, December 5 at Highline Memorial Stadium.
The second stop will be on Saturday, December 14 at Auburn Memorial Stadium.
And after the start of the new year, the Seahawks are headed to Seattle Memorial Stadium on Saturday, January 18.
The final Girls Flag Takeover gameday will be announced soon.
