Seahawks at Rams Inactives: Rookies C.J. Prosise, Germain Ifedi Among Seattle Players Sidelined

Rookie running back C.J. Prosise (hand) will not play in the Seahawks' Week 2 game at Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES – Rookie running back C.J. Prosise is inactive for the Seahawks' Week 2 game against the Rams, the result of a wrist injury sustained in last week's win over Miami. Prosise had been listed as questionable on Friday's injury report with what Seahawks coach Pete Carroll described as a cracked bone in his hand.

Prosise being sidelined means rookie running back Alex Collins is active after being inactive last week. Rookie guard Rees Odhiambo is also active for the first time.

Out for a second week in a row with injuries are tight end Nick Vannett and guard Germain Ifedi, who are both recovering from ankle injuries. J'Marcus Webb is again expected to start at right guard in place of Ifedi.

Among the players who will suit up today is cornerback Neiko Thorpe, who signed on Tuesday. Carroll said Thorpe was signed in part to help on special teams, so he'll likely have a role there this week.
