Seahawks Host Inaugural Seahawks Classic Golf Tournament

In the inaugural Seahawks Classic golf tournament, the Seahawks spent three days at Suncadia to raise money for the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health​.

Seahawks Legends, current Seahawks players, Seattle natives and others showed off their golf skills at the Seahawks Classic, a golf tournament hosted at Tumble Creek Golf Course. This was the first year of the tournament and it included the golf tournament, with prizes for first, second and third place winners, a live-auction and reception.

Among the attendees were Seahawks Legends Kam Chancellor, Michael Bennett, Matt Hasselbeck, Jacob Green, Warren Moon and many others. Other Seattle "celebrities," Lonzell Hill, Heather Tarr, Detlef Schrempf and John Olerud also golfed.

The tournament, which was played in scramble format included teams of five, with each team having a "celebrity" as part of the their team. The golf tournament was played in partnership with the Safeway Celebrity Invitational that took place during the three-day event.

Jermaine Kearse and his team won first place, Jordan Babineaux's team took home second place and Sidney Rice and his team came in third place.

The Seahawks hosted a charity golf tournament, the Seahawks Classic, at Tumble Creek Golf Course at Suncadia on June 24, 2024. All proceeds from the Seahawks Classic will go to the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health.
