Seahawks Make Roster Moves

The Seahawks made roster moves Tuesday, adding a pair of running backs, J.D. McKissic, who was claimed off of waivers from Atlanta, and Terrence Magee, who was signed off of Cleveland's practice squad. Running back Kelvin Taylor was waived and defensive end Damontre Moore was placed on injured reserve to make room on the 53-man roster.

McKissic, who was a receiver in college and with the Falcons, went undrafted out of Arkansas State, where he had 289 career receptions for 2,838 yards and 11 touchdowns. McKissic returned a kickoff for 101 yards in the preseason, then signed with Atlanta's practice squad after being waived during roster cuts. McKissic was added to the Falcons' active roster ahead of their last game, then waived on Monday.

This is the second stint with the Seahawks this season for Magee, who is in his second season out of LSU. Magee appeared in one game with Seattle earlier this season, carrying three times for 12 yards in Seattle's Week 3 win over San Francisco. He was waived the following week, then signed to Cleveland's practice squad in October.

Moore, who signed with the Seahawks in November, appeared in four games, recording seven tackles and half a sack. He has missed three of the past four games with a foot injury. Taylor spent time on Seattle's practice squad earlier this month, then was signed to the 53-man roster last week. Taylor was inactive for Thursday's game against the Rams.
