No Surprises Among Seahawks Not Expected To Play In Third Preseason Game at Vikings

The list of Seahawks not expected to play in Friday's preseason game in Minnesota includes a handful of Seattle players nursing injuries.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Seahawks will face the Vikings Friday night at U.S. Bank Stadium, and as expected, a handful of players aren't expected to play in preseason game No. 3.

Not expected to play are:

  • RB J.D. McKissic
  • CB Neiko Thorpe
  • S Bradley McDougald
  • S T.J. Mutcherson
  • CB Byron Maxwell
  • LB Josh Forrest
  • LB D.J. Alexander
  • G J.R. Sweezy
  • T Jamarco Jones
  • TE Ed Dickson
  • WR Doug Baldwin
  • DE Dion Jordan

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll gave updates on a number of those injured players following Thursday's practice.

Among the Vikings not expected to play are starting defensive end Everson Griffen and starting center Cornelius Edison.
