The Seahawks fell just short of a win Sunday and the NFC West title that would have come with it, and as a result they head into the playoffs as a wild card team.
That means the Seahawks, who at 11-5 are the NFC's No. 5 seed, will travel to Philadelphia to play the NFC East champion Eagles, who finished the regular season with a 9-7 record. That game will take place on Sunday, January 5 and kick off at 1:40 p.m. PT.
It will be Seattle's second game in Philadelphia this season, with the Seahawks beating the Eagles 17-9 in Week 12. With a win at Philadelphia, the Seahawks, who went a franchise-best 7-1 on the road this season, would play at San Francisco in the Divisional Round if the No. 3 seed New Orleans Saints beat the sixth-seeded Vikings next weekend, or Seattle would play at Green Bay if the Vikings beat the Saints
