The Seattle Seahawks are bringing back the fan-favorite 90s throwback uniforms for their Thursday Night Football matchup with the 8-3 Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium. Thursday night will be the second time the Seahawks have worn the throwback uniforms since debuting them earlier this season.

These uniforms are a modernized version of the uniforms the team wore starting in their inaugural season in 1976 through 2001. The uniforms feature the iconic royal blue jerseys with the classic silver helmet and matte grey pants. They represent the 90s which was not only a pivotal time for the franchise, but also the city of Seattle.

The throwback uniforms made their long-awaited debut earlier this season in Week 8 vs. the Cleveland Browns. The Seahawks entered the game with a record of 4-2 and faced one of the top defenses in the NFL in the Cleveland Browns. After struggling for much of the second half, the offense got the ball back down three late in the 4th quarter due to a Julian Love interception which was aided by the deflection from Jamal Adams. Geno Smith led the offense down the field and capped a five play, 57-yard touchdown drive with a touchdown pass to Jaxon Smith-Njigba with 38 seconds remaining. The Seahawks won a thrilling come-from-behind victory in Week 8 in what was a game highlighted by the return of the 90s uniforms.

The Seahawks will look to get back into the win column when they face off against the Dallas Cowboys in prime time on Thursday Night Football on Thursday, November 30.

The Seattle Seahawks debuted their long awaited throwback uniforms in a win versus the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Lumen Field. Check out some of the best photos from the throwback game.
