The Seahawks wrapped up their week of practice Thursday and are off to Atlanta for a Divisional Round playoff game against the Falcons, and head coach Pete Carroll likes what he saw from his team this week.
"We're hitting the road, ready to go," Carroll said. "We had a great week like we'd hoped. Everything worked out as planned and so we're ready to go play a heck of a football game on Saturday."
The Seahawks will head into Saturday's game with a mostly-healthy 53-man roster, including defensive tackle Tony McDaniel, who missed Seattle's Wild Card victory over Detroit because of a concussion.
"He's going to go," Carroll said. "He's ready, he practiced. He got it done yesterday and today."
Less certain is the status of running back C.J. Prosise, who practiced this week for the first time since fracturing his scapula in a Week 11 win over the Eagles. While official designations on player availability won't come out until Friday, Carroll indicated that Prosise, who practiced fully on Thursday, will be a game-day decision.
"He made it through practice all this week," Carroll said. "We'll just take it day to day, take it to the stadium and see how it goes.
"He's regaining his confidence and kind of getting going again. It has been a while, seven weeks or something like that. He took a lot of turns yesterday and today, so he's just getting back. We're not sure how we're going to do that, but we'll check him after the whole week's work on Friday and see how it goes all the way to game day… He did practice all this week, so that's a really good sign. So we'll see what happens."
Fullback Marcel Reece had a foot injury coming out of last weekend's game, but that ended up not being an issue this week.
"He's fine, no problem," Carroll said. "He practiced every snap this week."
Safety Jeron Johnson, who was limited earlier in the week with a knee injury, "just banged something," Carroll said. "He came back fine. He's all right."
