The Seahawks, originally scheduled to play three primetime home games throughout the month of December, are now down to two, with the NFL announcing Wednesday-and-Week-14-(December-9)-Schedule-Changes.aspx) that Seattle's Week 13 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers has moved from 5:20 p.m. PT to 1:25 p.m. PT on Sunday, December 2 at CenturyLink Field, with the broadcast moving from NBC to FOX.
Taking the primetime slot from the Seahawks and 49ers that weekend will be the Los Angeles Chargers' road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which was originally scheduled for 10 a.m. PT on CBS.
The Seahawks are still slated to play three more primetime games this season, beginning with Thursday night's game against the Green Bay Packers in Seattle. The club also has home primetime matchups set against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football in Week 14 and against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 16.
Since 2010, the Seahawks have posted a 23-5-1 combined record in Sunday, Monday, and Thursday primetime games, including a 7-1 record on Thursday nights and a 14-2 mark under the lights at home.
