Seahawks Waive Offensive Tackle Isaiah Battle

The Seahawks made a roster move Wednesday, waiving tackle Isaiah Battle in order to make room for Duane Brown.

The Seahawks waived offensive tackle Isaiah Battle Wednesday, making room on the 53-man roster for Duane Brown, who was acquired this week in a trade with the Houston Texans.

Battle, 24, came to Seattle in a trade with Kansas City as part of the moves to establish a 53-man roster prior to the start of the season, with the Seahawks sending a seventh-round pick to the Chiefs. Battle, who played collegiately at Clemson and previously played for the St. Louis and Los Angeles Rams, was inactive for Seattle's first seven games.

Team photographer Rod Mar shares exclusive behind-the-scenes images from the Seahawks' 41-38 win over the Houston Texans during Week 8 at CenturyLink Field.Ā
