The NFL announced today that the 2017 regular-season schedule will be unveiled at 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, April 20 as part of a two-hour long special on NFL Network. At that time, the schedule will also be available on Seahawks.com and the team's social media channels.
Seattle announced its preseason schedule last week and the club will open exhibition play at the new home of the Chargers, who moved from San Diego to Los Angeles this offseason. The Seahawks then play two straight games at CenturyLink Field, welcoming the Minnesota Vikings and Kansas City Chiefs to the Pacific Northwest before wrapping up preseason play with a road game against the Oakland Raiders, the 12th straight year the two teams have faced each other in Week 4 of the preseason.
Dates and times for each of the Seahawks' regular-season games will come with the NFL's announcement this Thursday, but Seattle's 2017 opponents are already set.
On top of its traditional home and away contests against the Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, and San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West, Seattle will face the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and Atlanta Falcons at home and hit the road for games against the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, and Green Bay Packers.
