For a second consecutive season, the Seahawks and Delta Air Lines are teaming up to give 12s the opportunity to experience professional football on the road.
The Road Warrior Sweepstakes presented by Delta Air Lines, the Official Airline of the Seattle Seahawks, will provide eight lucky fans — one for each of the Seahawks' eight regular-season road games — with round trip airfare, hotel accommodations, and two game tickets. The Seahawks will also host all eight winners at club headquarters for one of the team's offseason workouts in June.
Beginning today, 12s can enter the Seahawks Road Warrior Sweepstakes at Seahawks.com/Delta. The sweepstakes is open to Washington state residents only.
This year's Seahawks Road Warrior Sweepstakes which will give eight fans a chance to travel to one road game – is a slight audible from last season's setup that saw one fortunate fan picked to attend all eight of Seattle's regular-season games played away from CenturyLink Field.
Alex Knapp, 2016's Seahawks Road Warrior, shared highlights from his once-in-a-lifetime experience that he labeled “shocking” to win. Knapp's stadium-to-stadium journey included a historic trip to L.A. for the Rams' home opener, a Halloween-weekend stay in New Orleans for a game against the Saints, and a return to the site of Super Bowl XLVIII -- a place where the Seahawks won their first Lombardi Trophy -- for a game against the New York Jets.
"[MetLife Stadium] was my favorite so far," Knapp said of the Jets' home that the Seahawks are set to visit again in 2017 for a game against the Giants. "It's a nice new stadium, it's not too far from [New York] city. They had good tailgating options. My high school friends [from Bellevue] rented a school bus and parked it in the parking lot. It was full of Seahawks fans who live in New York.
"My brother lives there, so my parents and my sister went out and we all went to the game. I went to the Super Bowl there, so I have good memories there."
The Seahawks Road Warrior Sweepstakes will run through April 28, 2017 with all eight winners to be drawn in early May from the pool of total entries.
