Seattle Seahawks Cornerback Richard Sherman Picks Off Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman recorded his first interception of the season in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It took until Week 12 of the regular season, but Richard Sherman has his first interception of the year.

The All-Pro cornerback who has the most interceptions (25) and passes defensed (78) in the NFL since 2011, picked off a pass from Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game at CenturyLink Field.

Roethlisberger's ball was intended for wideout Antonio Brown, who tumbled to the ground in the middle of his route. That left Sherman all alone to corral in Roethlisberger's pass down the left sideline.

The pick was Sherman's 25th of his career and puts him in 10th place for most interceptions in a player's first five seasons since 1970.
