Seattle Seahawks Sale To The Khosla Family Is Complete

RENTON, Wash. – Following approval by NFL owners on August 26, the Seattle Seahawks announced today that the sale of the franchise to the Khosla family has officially closed. The Khosla family is now the controlling owner of the team.

Statement from the Khosla family:

"We are honored and excited to begin this next chapter. The Seahawks are known for their championship culture, winning football, and a deep connection to the 12s and the Pacific Northwest. We look forward to engaging with the Seattle community and building upon the legacy and traditions that make this franchise so special. We would like to extend our gratitude to the investors joining our ownership group and to everyone who has supported us throughout the sale process."

Vinod Khosla, founder of Khosla Ventures, will hold the title of Chair, with Neeru Khosla as Controlling Owner & President of the Seahawks Charitable Foundation, and Neal Khosla as Vice Chair.

Andalusian Sports Advisors served as advisor to the Khosla family and new ownership group. Sullivan & Cromwell LLP served as legal counsel.

The Seahawks will formally introduce the Khosla family via press conference on Wednesday, September 9, at 11:00 a.m. PT at Lumen Field. Details to follow.
