Cam Newton came into Sunday's meeting against the Seahawks with two picks on the year, but he'll leave Seattle with at least two more.
Strong safety Kam Chancellor recorded a diving interception of the Carolina quarterback in the third quarter of Sunday's game at CenturyLink Field after defensive end Cliff Avril hit Newton's throwing arm during his pass rush and affected the throw. Chancellor joined safety-mate Earl Thomas as Seattle's players to record picks against Newton in Week 6. The turnover helped set up a 50-yard field goal from kicker Steven Hauschka that gave the Seahawks a 20-7 lead.
