Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's 'out there' for today – Wednesday, December 26 – about your Seattle Seahawks:
Holmgren And Flores
As the 2019 NFL regular-season begins to wrap up, the Pro Football Hall of Fame has been very busy. A special Blue-Ribbon Panel comprised of many members of the overall Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee, Hall of Famers, coaches, football execs and several leading historians has scrutinized the merits of nearly 300 candidates nominated for consideration as part of the Hall's special Centennial Class of 2020.
The group of nominees has been reduced to a list of finalists, including former Seahawks head coaches Mike Holmgren and Tom Flores, that will be debated in a meeting in early January and voted on by the Blue-Ribbon Panel to elect the 15-member "Centennial Slate" to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The Centennial Slate will be broken down as so; 10 Seniors, three Contributors, and two Coaches, that will all be elected to the Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2020.
Keep an eye out for more information to come on the Hall's Centennial Slate and congratulations to Holmgren and Flores for the nomination.
