The first practice report of Week 5 is out for the Seahawks and their upcoming opponent - the Cincinnati Bengals - and it includes a bit of good news for Seattle.
Defensive tackle Brandon Mebane, who missed the Seahawks' Week 4 win over the Detroit Lions with a groin injury, was a full participant at Wednesday's workout. Earlier Wednesday, coach Pete Carroll said he thinks Mebane will make it back for Sunday morning's game against the Bengals, noting that how Mebane responds to each day of practice this week will be key in determining his status.
"It's still going to be a day to day because once he works we'll have to see how he recovers from it," Carroll said. "I'm pretty hopeful that he'll make it back."
Also participating in full for the Seahawks on Wednesday was wide receiver Ricardo Lockette, who exited Seattle's Week 4 game with shortness of breath, and safety Steven Terrell, who has missed the Seahawks' past two games with a hip flexor injury. Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) and Fred Jackson (ankle), meanwhile, sat out Wednesday's session. Carroll has said it will take all week to determine the running backs' status.Â
