Experience The Holodome At Seattle's Museum Of Pop Culture
Inspired by Seahawks owner Paul Allen's vision of a shared immersive reality experience, the Holodome opened to the public this past weekend at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle.
The Holodome is a 360-degree video experience that journeys to real and imagined worlds such as deep space or inside a Seahawks huddle at CenturyLink Field. The experience holds about six people at a time and is another step up from virtual reality. Currently at the exhibit are four different experiences for visitors to participate in for about five minutes: Death Planet Rescue, Song of Infinity: Journey into the Black Hole, Justin Timberlake's Montana: An Immersive Music Experience, and Seattle Seahawks: Art of the Play.
Kurt Schlosser of Seattle-based GeekWire wrote about each different experience and explained more about Holodome in this story.
